Recently, Željko Kolar (56) became a grandfather for the first time as his son Maks welcomed a daughter. Kolar, who is the Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County and a member of the SDP, and his wife, Mira Hrbud Kolar, were overjoyed to hear the news and received congratulations from all corners.

Kolar has had a distinguished career in politics, having served as mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and being elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. He also serves as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection. Along with his political accomplishments, Kolar is also known for his love of family and dedication to public service.

Kolar’s children, Maks (a lawyer) and Maja (a doctor), are both successful in their respective fields. The family enjoys spending time together during their spare time, going on walks and hikes according to official sources. Their love for each other is evident in everything they do and has endeared them to those around them.
