Bill Nye, Science-Loving Celebrities and Educators Headline Exclusive Eclipse Festival in Texas

Bill Nye “the Science Guy” is set to host a two-day Texas Hill Country camping experience in Fredericksburg on April 7-8 as part of the Planetary Society’s Eclipse-O-Rama event. The festival will include various speakers, activities, food, and the opportunity to watch the eclipse with Nye himself.

The lineup of science-enthused speakers at the event includes YouTuber Mark Rober, science educator Science Bob, and Planetary Society radio host Sarah Al-Ahmed. Tickets for the festival are priced at $325 per person and cover daytime programming from Sunday through Monday night. Children aged 5 and younger can attend for free.

However, attendance at the event is exclusive to Planetary Society members. If you are not a member, you can become one by paying a one-time annual fee of $50 during the Eclipse-O-Rama registration process. The festival will take place at 3319 Lower Crabapple Road.
