Boyce Business Targeted in Daring Early Morning Burglary: RPSO Seeking Suspect and Information

Police investigating after a man reportedly stole an ATM from a business

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a business in Boyce. According to RPSO, on February 12th, around 4:55 a.m., a man approached the business located in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road. The suspect allegedly rammed the front doors of the building, breaking them off the hinges to gain entry.

Once inside, the man took an ATM machine and placed it into his black Ford Fusion. He then left the building approximately six minutes later, leaving heavy damage to the rear of his vehicle and missing side mirrors. The suspect’s vehicle lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items during the incident.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for the suspect and asking for any information related to this incident. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
