Brazilian spectators witness first-ever ‘fire’ at Maksimir stadium as Croatia shares ‘Euro’ excitement

Brazilian fan Rafael Beserra was the star of the show at Maksimir as he watched Croatia’s final qualifier match against Armenia for Euro 2024. As a huge fan of the “fire” team, Bessera jumped out from the crowd and was introduced to the public after fulfilling his lifelong dream of meeting his idol Luka Modric during the League of Nations in Rotterdam.

Not long after, Bessera received an invitation from the Croatian Tourist Board and decided to visit Zagreb as a guest of honor. He has been studying Croatian and living his dream ever since. When asked about his experience watching Croatia play at Maksimir, Bessera said, “Zagreb is a wonderful city! I’m watching the national team in Croatia for the first time, and I’m very happy. I’ve never been to Maksimir before.”

In an interview with , Besserra shared that he often posts on social media about learning the Croatian language and showed off his skills. He also gave us his prediction for the match, saying he expected a convincing victory for the “fire” team with Modric, Ivanušec, and Majer being the scorers. To top it all off, Besserra proudly announced that he had already bought tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany!
