Lincoln Land Community College is providing free classes to seniors who are struggling to keep up with rapidly changing technology. These courses will cover the basics of email, the internet, mobile devices, cybersecurity, computer basics, and video conferencing. The classes will take place at the college’s downtown Springfield center, located at 130 W. Mason St. According to Laurel Bretz, an assistant vice president at LLCC, the world’s movement towards digital services and access has left many older adults feeling isolated, frustrated, and socially excluded. More details about the classes and registration are available at llcc.edu/digital-literacy.
