SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon has been gifted with two state-of-the-art medical ventilators thanks to a generous donation of $60,000 from the hospital’s auxiliary. The new equipment will provide life-saving breathing support for critically ill patients, including infants, children and adults.
Trisha Barczewski, the Respiratory Care Manager at the hospital, expressed her gratitude towards the hard work of the Auxiliary in raising funds for the new equipment. She emphasized that the advanced ventilators will enable highly skilled Pulmonologists, Critical Care physicians and Respiratory Therapists to deliver even more advanced ventilator support to patients in need.
The addition of these state-of-the-art ventilators enhances the already advanced technology available at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital. This donation from the Auxiliary further demonstrates their unwavering support of the mission of SSM Health. With this new equipment, the team members will be able to deliver even more advanced care to even the most critically ill patients.
