Celine Dion has cancelled the remaining dates of her globe tour, telling fans she is not robust sufficient to execute following her diagnosis of an incurable neurological situation.

The Canadian singer told fans on Friday (26 May perhaps) she was “tremendously disappointed” to “let them down”.

Dion, 55, stated in a statement: “I’m operating definitely difficult to make back my strength, but touring can be extremely challenging even when you are one hundred per cent.”

She added: “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you after once again. It is not fair to you to hold postponing the shows, and even although it breaks my heart, it is greatest that we cancel every thing now till I’m definitely prepared to be back on stage once again.

“I want you all to know, I’m not providing up… and I cannot wait to see you once again!”

Her announcement comes following she posted a video in December final year explaining she has stiff individual syndrome, which she says impacts “every aspect of my everyday life”.

The situation impacts her capability to execute and sing, as effectively as to carry out standard activities, due to “spasms”.

“Unfortunately, these spasms have an effect on each and every aspect of my everyday life, from time to time causing issues when I stroll and not enabling me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m made use of to,” she stated.
