The Chargers suffered their fifth loss of the season on Sunday, falling one score short of the Packers in a game that left safety Alohi Gilman feeling frustrated. Despite the team’s struggles, head coach Brandon Staley remains steadfast in his belief that defensive play-calling duties should remain under his control. However, he conceded that the Chargers lost in all phases of the game and not just on defense.

Staley’s response may not be comforting for a team now sitting at 4-6 after making the playoffs last season. The Chargers will have a chance to turn things around when they host the Ravens next Sunday night. Another loss could further weaken their position in the playoff chase and lead to significant changes for the team in the future.

Despite Staley’s defiance, safety Alohi Gilman expressed frustration about the team’s performance and felt that they cannot continue with their current approach if they want to achieve different results. The Ravens are known for their strong defense and could provide a challenging matchup for the struggling Chargers.
