Chicago Police Warn Near North Side Restaurants of 12 Burglaries in January and February

NBC Chicago Seeks Suspects in Spate of Burglaries at North Side Restaurants

A recent string of 12 restaurant burglaries has prompted Chicago police to issue a warning to businesses on the Near North Side. The burglaries took place between Jan. 9 and Feb. 6, with nearly all of them occurring in the morning. Four burglaries occurred in the first block of West Kinzie Street, while two burglaries each took place in three other blocks – the 600 block of Orleans Street, 100 block of West Kinzie Street, and 100 block of West Illinois Street. Additionally, there was one burglary each in the 800 block of North State Street and the 300 block of West Hubbard Street.

According to officials, the men involved in the burglaries were between 30 and 35 years old, standing at heights of 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8-inches and weighing between 160 to 170 pounds. The woman is believed to be between 20 and
