The 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event in Brazil, Indiana is back and it’s bigger than ever! Hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, this festive event is taking place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. as part of Small Business Saturday.

This year, local businesses and vendors in Clay County are joining the fun, offering special activities and promotions for attendees to enjoy. One of the highlights of the event is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.

With over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, there’s no shortage of opportunities for shoppers to explore and find unique gifts for their loved ones. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.

To make your day even easier, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App, providing a convenient map and guide for planning out your day’s activities on your phone.
