Jets reach out to Corey Davis for possible reunion

Following his release by the Jets on March 14, there is a possibility that Corey Davis could rejoin Gang Green. According to Coach Robert Saleh, the team is in regular communication with Davis and the door is always open for him to return. Reporter Connor Hughes has also indicated that the Jets are interested in bringing Davis back to the team.

If Davis does sign with the Jets again, it would be a significant boost for their already strong wide receiving group, which includes Garrett Wilson and recently-signed Mike Williams. Last August, Davis took a break from the game but was reinstated earlier this month, allowing him to make a comeback to the NFL. Before signing with the Jets in 2021, he spent four years with the Tennessee Titans.

During his time with the Jets, Davis showed promise as a valuable asset to their offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with the team. If he signs again with Gang Green, it could create a dynamic wide receiving corps that opposing teams will have to contend with.
