The Croatian national team is set to face off against Armenia in a crucial Euro 2024 qualifying match at the Maksimir stadium in Zagreb on Tuesday at 20:45. With the last tickets sold out, an estimated 15,000 to 18,000 fans could be present. To accommodate even more fans, HNS also put some unused tickets for sale for the southern stand on Sunday. These tickets disappeared quickly due to high demand.
As a result of this success, HNS has organized a fan zone near the stadium that opens on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Visitors can expect a rich program, including a concert by popular musicians Mata Bulić and Tiho Orlić. Public viewing of the match will also be available on large screens next to the stadium.
Despite potential rain forecasts for Tuesday afternoon, Croatian fans have proven their resilience in previous matches, such as the dramatic qualifier against Russia for the World Cup that was played in challenging weather conditions. Nevertheless, visitors are encouraged to come prepared with umbrellas or ponchos if needed.
At the stadium, fans can purchase various fan props and licensed HNS products, including the “fire” jersey and other merchandise designed specifically for children. Additionally, HNS has planned activities for younger fans such as e-football and table football tournaments that promise to be fun-filled events!
