Daily Deaths of Children from Bombs Continue to Rise Globally, According to Mattarella

On the International Day of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, expressed his concern for the ongoing plight of children around the world. He highlighted the fact that children continue to suffer and die in wars, are exploited and discriminated against, and face physical and mental abuse. The tragedies that they endure will leave a lasting impact on their lives, and the president emphasized that the world is robbing itself of its own future by allowing this to happen.

Mattarella pointed out that the number of children and adolescents fleeing from war, climate crises, and poverty is increasing every year. They are searching for salvation and a chance to escape from inhuman circumstances. He stressed the right of children to equal opportunities in life, the right to be heard and accepted, and the right to experience their childhood in peace. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and promoting these rights, as it offers hope for a better future for everyone.
