The Pittsburgh Steelers have created some adjustments to their roster ahead of their Monday Evening Football game against the Cleveland Browns. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson and operating back Anthony McFarland Jr. have been placed on injured reserve, which means they will miss at least 4 games prior to getting capable to return to the field. Moreover, the group has elevated operating back Qadree Ollison from the practice squad to the active roster, although he will return to the practice squad right after the game.

Johnson sustained a hamstring injury in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers. In spite of leaving the game in the third quarter, he managed to make 3 receptions for 48 yards. He then signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022 prior to joining the Jacksonville Jaguars in the offseason. Ollison was chosen by the Falcons in the fifth round of the 2019 draft and played in 19 games for them, recording 44 carries for 158 yards and 5 touchdowns. In the course of the 2022 season, he played 3 games for the Cowboys.
