Empower Solano will host a ceremony on Wednesday honoring modest firms that effectively pivoted and kept serving the neighborhood safely through the pandemic, like Bay Hauling of Vallejo and its owner Juan Vallejos.
5 firms will be highlighted at the affair and their owners will acquire certificates of recognition from the offices of U.S. Congressman John Garamendi, California State Senator Bill Dodd and California Assemblymember Lori D. Wilson.
The Director of the California Workplace of Compact Company Advocates, Tara Lynn Gray, will be keynote speaker.
“We want to spend tribute to modest firms that have completed an exceptional job maintaining their doors open and serving the public through unprecedented situations more than the final 3 years,” mentioned K. Patrice Williams, Empower Solano’s executive director and Fairfield city councilmember. “The occasion will also be a terrific chance for any person in small business or searching to start off a small business to network and get some important insights on sources accessible to them in the county and at the state level.” Williams will serve as mistress of ceremonies at the celebration.

The occasion – which will take location on Wednesday beginning at ten a.m., at the Solano-Napa Compact Company Improvement Center, 500 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield. The public is invited and small business owners, entrepreneurs or any person attempting to start off a small business are encouraged to attend. Admission is absolutely free.
Tim Murrill, executive director of the Solano-Napa Compact Company Improvement Center, will also speak through the festivities. City officials from all through the county and representatives from neighborhood chambers of commerce have been invited. Refreshments will be served.
