The Tulsa World is once again honoring the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with its annual All-World Awards. This week, finalists for winter sports will be announced, and fans can also vote for their favorite high school fans, mascots, bands, cheer squads, and dance teams in the Fans of the Year contest.
Boys basketball, swimming, and wrestling finalists have already been announced, with girls basketball finalists set to be revealed on Saturday. The World’s All-State boys and girls basketball selections will be announced on Sunday. The 2023-24 All-World honors will cover a range of sports including football, softball, volleyball, cross country, and spring sports such as track and field.
The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet presented by Bill Knight Automotive on Thursday, June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall. Tickets for the event are $75 and can be purchased at allworldawards.com. Seating is limited, so it’s important to secure your spot early.
