The University of Utah Health Plans was founded in 1998 as a Medicaid plan and currently serves over 240,000 members in the Mountain West region. The plan specializes in administering medical, mental health, and pharmacy benefits for various government programs such as Medicaid and CHIP, as well as fully insured and self-funded employer groups, individuals, and families.
If you are a family looking to apply for CHIP, you can do so at any time through MyCase or by calling 1-877-543-7669. If you need help or have questions about changing your CHIP plan, you can reach out to a Health Program Representative at 866-608-9422. During open enrollment from May 15 through June 15, you can make changes to your existing plan.
