Family Fun on a Budget: Denver Museum Offers Free Admission for Día del Niño and More!

As a dad and husband in a family of five, I understand how expensive it can be to do things together as a family. That’s why whenever I come across a deal like the one happening this weekend, I make sure to take advantage of it. The Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Mexican Cultural Center are celebrating Día del Niño (the Day of the Child) this Sunday (Apr. 28) with free admission to the museum.

The celebration will not only include free general admission for all visitors but also special performances, music, and activities for the entire family. Guests can also enjoy 50% off admission to the temporary exhibition “Orcas: Our Shared Future” and 50% off admission to Infinity Theater and Gates Planetarium showings throughout the day.

If you can’t make it for this free day, the museum will also offer free admission on June 4, June 19, August 21, September 10 and 30, November 2 and 18, and December 8. Please note that on these dates, free admission will only be from 5 to 10 p.m. It’s important to keep in mind that there is no need to reserve a ticket ahead of time online – visitors can walk up anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to gain access to the Wildlife Halls or the permanent exhibitions.
