Bango Honors Champions of Racine Elementary School’s Fresh Air Science Fair

Congratulations to the fifth graders at Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine for their outstanding participation in the nearly two-month-long Fresh Air Science Fair. The fair, which began on February 1st, saw students form teams and create projects that brought the concepts of clean air pollution to life. Entries were judged based on the quality of research and data analysis as well as the creativity of their presentations.

On Wednesday, March 27th, winners were announced and prizes distributed during a special award assembly. Guests included the Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers. The first-place team members each received three tickets to the April 10 Bucks game against Orlando Magic, along with transportation to and from the game and concession stand vouchers for use at Fiserv Forum during the game. Second and third place teams received Bucks merchandise as prizes.

This event was made possible through a collaboration between Modine, Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and United Way of Racine County. Well done to all participants!
