In a viral video, former NFL quarterback and UT alumnus Vince Young was involved in a chaotic altercation at a bar in Houston. The incident happened on February 4th around 10 p.m., as reported by TMZ, at Tokyo Joe’s in Houston.
The video shows Young arguing with a group of people at the bar, which quickly escalated as more people joined in. One person even threw a drink, and the group moved to the other side of the bar, drawing more participants and spectators.
During the fight, Young was punched by one of the men involved, causing him to fall briefly before getting back up. Despite his fame as one of UT’s most renowned former athletes and his six-season career in the NFL, including being the runner-up for the 2005 Heisman Trophy, it remains unclear what triggered this altercation.
Bar staff members were involved in the fight and called 911. However, the Houston Police Department stated that no charges were filed against anyone involved in the incident.
