The Superior Health Foundation awarded $722,065.93 in proactive pediatric mental health grants to six organizations during its fall grant award celebration in October. These awards were accepted by the Michigan State University – Department of Pediatrics and Human Development; Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions, Inc.; Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc.; Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula, Northern Michigan University and Marquette-Alger RESA.
The recipients will receive funding for pediatric mental health grants over a two-year period. The event was presented by 44North and provided an opportunity to recognize the contributions of these organizations to the community’s well-being.
