Sophomore guard Kynidi Mason Striverson has received recognition for her outstanding performance both on and off the court. After the conclusion of the 2023-24 women’s basketball season, Mason Striverson was honored as an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. She was the Aces’ second-leading scorer, averaging 11.5 points per game, and led the team in assists with 122 over the course of 32 games.

Mason Striverson’s impressive achievements do not stop at her athletic prowess. As a business management major, she maintains a remarkable 3.663 cumulative GPA and has been recognized on the University of Evansville’s Dean’s List twice during her time at the university. To qualify for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have participated in 90% of the team’s games or started in 66% of the team’s games.

Mason Striverson is one of only three Evansville players who appeared in all 32 games and is the sole player to start in every single game. Her dedication to excel in all aspects of her collegiate career is truly inspiring, and she serves as an excellent example for other student-athletes to follow.
