Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans emphasized the importance of urgent action to end extreme poverty. He noted that the world is at a critical juncture on various issues. The event will feature actors like Hugh Jackman, Danai Gurira, and Dakota Johnson, as well as representatives from companies like Cisco, Citi, Delta, and PayPal. Additionally, leaders from organizations such as the Rockefeller Foundation, Bezos Earth Fund, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights will be in attendance.
