Hailey Van Lith, a standout basketball player, has announced that she will be transferring to TCU for her fifth and final season. Van Lith played for LSU this season, reaching the Elite Eight before losing to Iowa. Prior to LSU, she spent three seasons with Louisville, where she reached a Final Four and another Elite Eight.

During her time with Louisville and LSU, Van Lith averaged an impressive 14.5 points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. She transitioned from a wing position at Louisville to a point guard role at LSU. Van Lith is known for her exceptional statistics as the only active Division I player with over 1,900 points, 500 rebounds, and 350 assists.

TCU officially welcomed Van Lith to their roster on Friday. The program made an appearance in the AP Top 25 this season but faced challenges due to injuries, resulting in forfeiting two games and holding open tryouts to add players to the roster. TCU started the season strong with a 13-0 record but suffered a six-game losing streak followed by the forfeits that affected their overall record of finishing at 21-12 with a 6-12 conference record under second-year coach Mark Campbell.

Van Lith is originally from Wenachtee, Washington and is also actively involved with USA Basketball. She is also a candidate for the 3×3 national team that will be competing at the Paris Olympics this summer.
