Recently, faculty and staff from Tangier Smith Elementary School and John S. Hobart Elementary School took on the world-famous Harlem Wizards in a charity basketball game. The event was filled with excitement as Kopa, the therapy dog, served as an honorary referee for the game.
The Harlem Wizards returned to William Floyd to take on the faculty and staff from Tangier Smith and Hobart Elementary Schools in a friendly basketball game. The night was filled with basketball skills displays, a “Wiz-Kids” warm-up, comedy, contests, raffles, slam dunks, autographs, and more.
The event was a huge success and a fun-filled evening for all who attended. The Harlem Wizards were praised for their visit to William Floyd once again. Special recognition was given to the Hobart and Tangier Smith PTOs for their hard work in organizing the event. Additional photos from the event can be found in the album below.
