Stop by the Kaua‘i District Health Office this Friday

In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Kaua’i District Health Office (KDHO) is hosting an open house on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Located on Umi Street near the elections building and Central Pacific Bank building, the event provides an opportunity for the public to engage with Hawai’i State Department of Health staff. This open house allows community members to learn about programs and actions they can take to address public health challenges.

Dr. Janet Berreman, Kaua’i District Health Officer, expressed excitement for the event, stating that National Public Health Week encourages exploration of the various programs and services offered by the Department of Health. The aim is to enhance the well-being of the community through collaboration with community members and partners. This event serves as a way to show gratitude to the community for their ongoing support in creating a healthier and thriving Kaua’i.
