Nelson and Westhead Selected as Inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024 includes former Saint Joseph’s standouts Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead. The announcement was made by organization officials on Tuesday.

Nelson and Westhead are among the 13 individuals selected for induction into the prestigious hall of fame. Alongside them, other inductees include George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts.

The induction ceremony for the 2024 Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Thursday, November 7 at Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia. This event is open to the public and for more information and registration can be found on www.philadelphiasportshalloffame.org.
