VA Finger Lakes Health Care Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Residency

The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System’s Mental Health APRN Residency is a clinical experience program aimed at enhancing the skills of mental health nurse practitioners in managing mental health conditions affecting the Veteran population. The program aims to improve diagnostic, psychiatric medication management, and psychotherapy skills, as well as developing strong interprofessional collaboration and Veteran-centric care expertise.

The mission of the program is to provide high-quality care for Veterans, including those in rural and underserved patient populations. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply for the program by March 8, 2024.
