The PGA of America has announced its 2023 Hall of Fame class, which includes CBS Sports sportscaster Jim Nantz. Alongside Nantz, the class also includes Robert Dolan, Don Wegrzyn, Herb Wimberly, Suzy Whaley, and Kathy Whitworth (posthumous). The induction ceremony will take place on November 8th in Frisco, Texas.

Nantz, who will be inducted in the ambassador category, has already been recognized for his contributions to sports broadcasting. He is a member of the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame and is the youngest person to be inducted into both the Pro Football and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Nantz has won three Emmy Awards and has been named National Sportscaster of the Year five times since he joined CBS in 1985.

PGA of America President John Lindert expressed his admiration for the accomplishments of the inductees, stating that they have made a significant impact on the game of golf and have inspired countless individuals. Lindert highlighted how these individuals have either proudly represented the PGA of America in their daily efforts or have used their voices to support the sport and the organization. The PGA of America is honored to celebrate their contributions to the sport they all love.
