John E. Anzak, a beloved member of the Hannibal, Ohio community, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on July 31, 1957 to Shirley (Cochran) and John Anzak, he was an employee of the US Postal Service for over three decades. For 24 of those years, John served as Postmaster before retiring on his birthday in 2009.

John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time watching sports. He is survived by his brother James Anzak of St.Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC.; step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry; and three first cousins.

Family and friends will gather to honor John’s life at Apostolic Pentecostal Church located at 73339 Pleasant Grove Rd in St Clairsville on Wednesday November 22nd at 11am with services beginning at 1 pm led by Pastor Dan Nelson.
