On April 25th, Williams Elementary School in Jonesville held its annual Science and Math night. The event attracted hundreds of students and their families to engage in a range of STEM activities, including science, technology, engineering, and math. Visitors enjoyed pizza while exploring various stations set up by the community, teachers, and students from the National Honor Society throughout the school building.
One of the highlights of the night was Camp Michindoh, which provided attendees with an opportunity to interact with different species of animals. This attraction drew many visitors. Additionally, the Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams showcased their robots and coding skills at the event, giving elementary-age students a glimpse into the exciting world of robotic coding and how it translates into action.
The annual Science and Math night serves as an educational opportunity for families to come together outside of the traditional classroom setting.
