KBR has recently been awarded a contract by SABIC Fujian Petrochemicals to license its phenol technology in China. This contract involves providing technology licensing and engineering design for a phenol plant with a capacity of 250,000 tons per year at SABIC’s Fujian Petrochemical Complex. The project, which was announced in January 2024, is expected to be completed by 2026.
