LSEG CEO David Schwimmer expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance at the start of the year. He noted that they had experienced solid growth in line with their plans, with strong performances in FTSE Russell, Risk Intelligence, and Tradeweb. The Equities business also saw a return to growth.
Schwimmer highlighted the ongoing innovation within LSEG, with new product launches expected throughout the year. He also mentioned the progress made in the Microsoft partnership, with several products set to enter external pilot or general release in the near future. The migration of datasets onto the Microsoft platform is also underway, which will enhance customer access to LSEG’s data.
Looking ahead, Schwimmer expressed optimism for the rest of the year and anticipated further progress in various aspects of the business.
