The Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament is an event that brings together nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams across the state to compete in a variety of STEM disciplines. This exciting tournament will take place on Friday, April 19th, at Montana State University. Among the participating teams are Conrad Middle School and Chinook Middle School, located within the New Media Broadcasters listening area.
The Montana Science Olympiad offers a platform for students to showcase their dedication and talent in the STEM fields. Pairs or trios of students compete in individual events, with the opportunity to earn medals. The school with the highest cumulative score will be crowned the state champion. The winning team will have the chance to compete at the national tournament held at Michigan State University later in the spring.
This event provides an opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning and collaborate with their peers from different schools. It promises to be an exciting and rewarding experience for all participants, as they test their skills and knowledge in a competitive environment.
