Murderer Maurice Demond Davis Found Guilty and Sentenced as a Habitual Offender in Record Time: A Macon County Case

Maurice Demond Davis was found guilty of murder and felon in possession of a firearm after a Macon County jury deliberated for just 53 minutes. He shot and killed MiKayce Parker during an argument at a Tuskegee business. The prosecution is seeking to have him sentenced as a habitual offender due to his prior felonies. The sentence will be handed out on May 9.
