New Blood Brings Fresh Perspectives and Hope to McIntosh Town Council

A new era of local governance has dawned in McIntosh, a peaceful town situated between Gainesville and Ocala. The excitement in the air was palpable as Mayor Marshall Roddy and council member Frank Ciotti eagerly awaited the arrival of newly appointed members. Following the resignation of four previous council members due to financial disclosure requirements, Gov. Ron DeSantis stepped in to make appointments on Friday.

Despite one appointee declining due to family commitments, William “Lee” Deaderick, Donald Medeiros, and Richard Talbert were warmly welcomed by the town.
