The UH Amherst Health Center, located next to the UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center, recently celebrated its grand opening. This expansion aims to provide the community with access to top-notch healthcare services in one convenient location. The health center, situated at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, offers comprehensive orthopedic care, radiology, physical therapy, an orthopedic urgent care walk-in clinic, and a range of other medical specialties including ear, nose and throat, heart and vascular, primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health.
Dr. James Voos, the chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery, emphasized the commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. The opening of a retail pharmacy in June will further enhance the services available at the UH Amherst Health Center.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Zanotti expressed excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the development of this new comprehensive healthcare center despite being part of Lorain County for only 27 years. Despite being on a new campus in Amherst Township, Ohio; The commitment to providing high-quality care and serving the community remains unchanged by University Hospitals’ team as they look forward to continuing supporting patients and the community for years to come
