Andy Reid is in favor of the proposed new kickoff rule and is optimistic about its approval.

During a recent NFL league meeting, Andy Reid, head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, voiced his support for a radical change to NFL kickoffs. According to Reid, he is in favor of the low-impact kickoff rule, which has been attempted in the XFL. If this rule passes, he believes it could bring about exciting and interesting changes to the game.

The proposed rule change involves having 10 players on each team line up only five yards apart during kickoffs. The Competition Committee presented this idea as a way to decrease injuries while simultaneously increasing the level of excitement in the game. While the outcome of the rule change vote is still uncertain, it seems that the Chiefs will likely be supporting this proposal.
