NJ High School Sports Awards 2024: Recognizing Community Impact Through Athletics

The NJ High School Game Changers Sports Awards, now in its second year, is set to take place on June 17th, 2024. To cast your vote for the outstanding high school student athletes who are making a positive impact on their teams, schools, and communities, simply scroll down to the bottom of this article where you will find the finalist nominations and their descriptions.

NJ.com and The Star-Ledger have partnered together to recognize and honor high school students who are excelling in sports while also making a positive impact on their community. After receiving hundreds of nominations from the public, the finalists for 20 award categories have been selected. Fourteen of these categories will be decided by public vote, with the remaining six winners chosen by high school sports reporters at the end of the spring season.

Voting is now open until May 7th, 2024, so don’t miss your chance to recognize deserving high school student athletes who are truly making a difference in their communities. Winners will be announced during a live award show on June 17th at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway. The event will be inspired by popular award shows like the Teen Choice Awards and ESPYs. All finalists and their families will receive complimentary tickets to attend the live event thanks to our partners.
