Next weekend, Pokémon enthusiasts from across the globe will gather at ExCeL London for three days of intense battles in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, and Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE with the aim of qualifying for this year’s Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu. The stakes are high as Championship Points will be up for grabs for the winners, along with a prize pool worth thousands of dollars shared across the various competitions.
The championships will be live-streamed on Twitch, featuring expert commentators such as Alex Dao, Chip Richey, Ethan Hegyi, Freya Pearce, and Mike Ellis. The schedule for the event is as follows: on Friday, April 5th from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time, on Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time and on Sunday, April 7th with the finals beginning at 12 pm ET on Twitch.tv/Pokemon.
