An investigation by the New York Times has uncovered that Robert Kennedy Jr, nephew of former President JFK, has been struggling with serious health issues due to a parasite in his brain. The parasite has caused him to experience “obvious cognitive problems” as well as both short-term and long-term memory loss. Kennedy Jr is an independent candidate running for president in the upcoming November election, facing off against Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Kennedy Jr revealed during a 2012 divorce case deposition that doctors had diagnosed him with a parasite in his brain that had eaten away part of it before dying. This incident occurred more than ten years ago after a trip to Africa, South America or Asia. Despite this health scare, a spokesperson for the candidate insists that Robert Kennedy Jr is now in very good physical and mental health.
Additionally, Kennedy Jr has also suffered from mercury poisoning at one point which can cause neurological problems. These revelations come amidst the ongoing presidential election campaign, with Kennedy Jr now facing scrutiny over his health compared to his older opponents, Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Despite these challenges, Kennedy Jr remains determined to continue his campaign for the presidency.
