As the peak season of respiratory illnesses comes to an end, health officials are reminding the public not to let their guard down. The Laredo Health Department is recommending that individuals continue practicing preventive care by staying up to date with vaccines. Despite a decrease in infection and illness levels, Jaime Perez from Laredo Health emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated to avoid getting sick.

The RSV vaccine, available for children aged 0 to 24 months, will be available until the end of the month for a $10 administration fee. Additionally, the flu vaccine will be available until June 30 for both adults and children.
