The Tulsa World is once again recognizing the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with its All-World Awards. The finalists for winter sports will be announced throughout the week, starting with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, followed by boys and girls wrestling on Thursday. Boys basketball will be featured on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday. On Sunday, the World’s All-State boys and girls basketball teams will be announced.
In addition to winter sports, the 2023-24 All-World honors will also include football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country. Finalists for these sports were announced in the fall. Spring sports finalists will be announced in early June along with winners for specialty awards such as best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, as well as a lifetime achievement award winner.
The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet presented by Bill Knight Automotive on Thursday, June 20 at Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall.
