In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Globe Vision launched its biggest international emergency response. Operating with governments, partners, and communities in more than 70 nations, the organization aimed to mitigate the influence of the pandemic on vulnerable kids and households. This report focuses on the methods and adaptations created in kid protection programming throughout the pandemic.
To conduct this study, a retrospective meta-critique was carried out making use of case research, project reports, and monitoring and evaluation documents from 18 Globe Vision offices. 4 case research from Somalia, Myanmar, Lebanon, and El Salvador had been chosen for in-depth evaluation. A thematic deductive critique was then carried out, focusing on widespread themes across unique contexts and applications.
The report highlights six essential learnings and suggestions for digital and remote kid protection programming primarily based on the facts collected and findings from the case research. These insights and suggestions align with the Principles for Digital Improvement.
