Wirtgen Group recently hosted its international industry event, the Technology Days 2024, at its headquarters in Göppingen, Germany. The event attracted 2,700 attendees from over 100 countries to explore digitalization and sustainability. Kleemann, a subsidiary of Wirtgen Group, showcased cutting-edge machines and technologies with around 70 exhibits for various applications.
During the event, Volker Knickel, CEO of Wirtgen Group, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation in meeting the growing demand for smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions worldwide. He highlighted the importance of digital systems in supporting customers through the digital transformation and providing holistic solutions for construction projects from planning to documentation.
Kleemann introduced its new MSS 502i EVO scalping screen with a fully-electric drive option during the Technology Days event. CEO Alexander Knam highlighted the company’s strategic investments in expanding production capacities and improving assembly and logistics processes to offer solutions for recycling and natural stone processing. Attendees were also given guided tours of Kleemann’s production facilities to showcase their operations.
