Revolutionizing Space Research: North Carolina A&T Students and NASA Partnerships

William Gray, a North Carolina A&T student, is currently working in a lab where he is gaining knowledge about automation. Recently, NASA astronaut Christina Koch shared her experiences in space with an audience. She used a classroom projector to display North Carolina from space, highlighting the significance of her home state in her journey. Koch also emphasized how her education in public schools in North Carolina had a significant impact on her journey, from middle school in Jacksonville to attending North Carolina State University.

Governor Cooper stressed the importance of investing in public schools in North Carolina during an upcoming budget proposal to the State Assembly. He highlighted that supporting education is critical for maintaining the state’s status as a leader in business and technology. Cooper urged legislators to prioritize funding for schools to ensure continued development of the state’s workforce.
