Samsung, one of the world’s largest technology companies, is preparing to release its new flagship smartphone series. The Galaxy S24 series will be launched on January 17, 2024 in San Jose, California, USA. Customers will be able to pre-order the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models on January 18. The devices will be available for pre-order starting from January 26 with general availability for consumers beginning on January 30, 2024.
Samsung has not announced the prices of the Galaxy S24 series yet, but it is estimated that they will follow a similar pricing policy to the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy S24 could start around $900 while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be priced at $1,000 and $1,200 respectively. Samsung aims to increase its earnings in the first quarter with the launch of this new phone series which is set to come with One UI 6 based on Android 14 and specially developed artificial intelligence features.
The launch of this new phone series will also feature an event called “Galaxy Unpacked” which will take place in San Jose instead of New York as usual. This event is expected to showcase the new features and capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series and generate excitement leading up to its release date.
