At around 12:20 p.m., a downtown shop called Sugarfoot Books Inc. on 615 San Anselmo Ave. in San Anselmo was hit when a Toyota 4Runner backed into a parked car and then into the storefront. The Ross Valley Fire Department reported that no one was injured in the incident, which was classified as an accident. Battalion Chief Jake Peterson stated that the driver of the Toyota 4Runner was not suspected to be intoxicated at the time of the collision.
