Schnucks Markets Launches Diverse-Owned Business Accelerator Program to Support Local Business Owners

Schnuck Markets, Inc. is introducing SchnucksSpringboard, a diverse-owned business accelerator program that will support local businesses by providing education, resources, and access to opportunities. Presented in partnership with the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, the program aims to help business owners succeed.

Interested business owners can apply for the program by visiting schnucks.com/springboard before May 12. Those selected to participate will have the opportunity to conduct in-store product trials at select Schnucks stores, receive $5,000 in equity-free funding, and attend business development classes at Schnucks’ St. Louis headquarters.

Schnucks has been committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in its operations for several years now. In 2020, the company introduced the Unity Is Power diversity, equity, and inclusion plan to increase targeted community support for racial equity organizations like the Urban League. Last year, Schnucks received the Civic Leadership Award from ULSTL for its efforts. The company was also recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity in 2024 by Newsweek.
