The Trosjed cable car on Crveni spust sustained significant damage during a July storm. This has led experts from the Austrian company Doppelmayr to assess the damage and conclude that it was beyond repair. As a result, the Crveni spust will not be operational for skiing this year, disappointing many skiing enthusiasts.

However, preparations for the ski season are still underway. According to officials from the City of Zagreb, preparatory work has been completed on the White and Green slopes. Snowmaking will soon begin to prepare for the ski season, ensuring that these slopes are ready for skiers and snowboarders alike. Additionally, plans for the procurement of a new cable car for the Red Slope are in progress.

In summary, while the Trosjed cable car on Crveni spust will not be available for skiing this year due to its significant damage, preparations for the ski season on other slopes are well underway. With plans in place for a new cable car on the Red Slope, skiers can look forward to an exciting and action-packed winter season in Zagreb.
